Camp Boss – Catering Supervisor
The Camp Boss is responsible for supervising and coordinating the catering team and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of catering services at company camps and project locations.
The position oversees the daily activities of chefs, cook assistants, waiters, pot washers, and cleaning personnel, ensuring that all catering operations are properly organized and carried out according to company requirements.
Responsibilities include coordinating daily meal schedules, monitoring food preparation and service, supervising kitchen and dining-area operations, managing catering supplies and consumables, and following up on staff attendance and performance. The Camp Boss also coordinates with site management regarding manpower requirements, food supplies, operational needs, and employee feedback.
The position ensures that high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, quality, safety, and HSE compliance are maintained across all catering activities.
Iraqi Chef
The Iraqi Chef is responsible for preparing and supervising the preparation of high-quality Iraqi and Middle Eastern cuisine for personnel working at camps, drilling locations, and industrial sites.
Responsibilities include planning daily menus, preparing traditional Iraqi meals, supervising food preparation, controlling portions and food quality, and ensuring that meals are prepared and served according to the agreed catering schedule.
The Iraqi Chef monitors the quality and freshness of ingredients, ensures proper food storage and handling, minimizes food waste, and maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment. The Chef also supervises Iraqi Cook Assistants and coordinates with the Camp Boss and other catering personnel to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
All food preparation activities are performed in accordance with food hygiene, sanitation, food safety, quality, and HSE requirements.
Chinese Chef
The Chinese Chef is responsible for preparing and supervising the preparation of authentic Chinese cuisine for Chinese personnel and other clients according to approved menus and catering requirements.
Responsibilities include planning and preparing Chinese dishes, controlling ingredients and portions, maintaining food quality and presentation, and ensuring that meals are prepared according to the required schedule and dietary preferences.
The Chinese Chef supervises Chinese Chef Assistants, manages kitchen preparation activities, monitors food supplies and ingredients, and ensures appropriate storage and handling of food products. The Chef also coordinates with the Camp Boss and catering management to maintain smooth and reliable catering operations.
All activities are performed in accordance with strict food hygiene, sanitation, food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and HSE standards.
Iraqi Cook Assistant
The Iraqi Cook Assistant supports the Iraqi Chef in the preparation and cooking of meals and assists with the daily operation of the kitchen.
Responsibilities include preparing vegetables, meat, rice, spices, and other ingredients; assisting with cooking and food preparation; maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas; and supporting the Chef during meal preparation and service.
The Cook Assistant also assists with receiving and organizing food supplies, proper food storage, cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment, and minimizing food waste. The position works closely with the Iraqi Chef and other catering personnel to ensure meals are prepared efficiently, hygienically, and according to established standards.
Chinese Chef Assistant
The Chinese Chef Assistant supports the Chinese Chef in preparing and cooking Chinese meals and assists with the daily operation of the Chinese kitchen.
Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, and other food products according to the Chef's instructions. The position assists with cooking, food preparation, portioning, kitchen organization, and maintaining the required preparation schedule.
The Chinese Chef Assistant also supports the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas, assists with food storage and inventory, and ensures that food is handled in accordance with approved hygiene and safety procedures.
The position works closely with the Chinese Chef to ensure consistent food quality and efficient kitchen operations.
Waiter
The Waiter provides professional dining and catering support to employees and guests at company camps and project locations.
Responsibilities include preparing dining areas before meals, arranging tables and utensils, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout meal periods, and ensuring that dining facilities are properly presented.
After meals, the Waiter collects used tableware, clears food waste, transfers used items to the washing area, and ensures that clean tableware is properly returned for use. The Waiter also supports the catering team during busy periods and communicates employee feedback regarding food quality, portions, and dining services.
Kitchen Helper
The Pot Wash is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of kitchen utensils, cookware, plates, bowls, and other catering equipment.
Responsibilities include collecting and sorting used kitchenware, removing food residues, washing and disinfecting utensils and cookware, and ensuring that cleaned items are properly dried and stored in designated areas.
The Pot Wash also maintains the cleanliness of sinks, washing areas, floors, and dishwashing equipment and ensures that cleaning materials and chemicals are used safely and correctly.
The position plays an important role in maintaining a hygienic and efficient kitchen operation and follows established food hygiene, sanitation, quality, and HSE requirements.
Clean Boy
The Clean Boy is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and organized environment across catering facilities, dining areas, kitchens, accommodation areas, and other designated camp facilities.
Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing dining halls, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, offices, common areas, floors, windows, furniture, and other surfaces.
The Clean Boy also collects and disposes of waste, maintains cleaning tools and equipment, replenishes cleaning materials when required, and reports shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
All cleaning activities are performed in accordance with company hygiene procedures, environmental requirements, and HSE standards.
Laundry Man
The Laundry Man is responsible for providing professional laundry services for employees working at company camps and remote project locations.
Responsibilities include collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, organizing, and distributing uniforms, clothing, linens, towels, and other approved laundry items.
The Laundry Man ensures that laundry is properly sorted according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage. The position also monitors laundry equipment, manages detergents and consumables, maintains a clean and hygienic laundry facility, and reports equipment problems or supply shortages.
All laundry operations are performed in accordance with established hygiene, quality, sanitation, and HSE procedures.
